Welcome to Otis, a handy mood tracking and exposure response prevention (ERP) app designed to help elevate your mood and reduce anxiety.

Otis is designed around the clinically proven¹ method of exposure response prevention, which has shown to reduce anxiety and symptoms of obsessive compulsive disorder, otherwise known as OCD.

Key Features:
- Otis includes an easy to use mood log, helpful for noting down things that trigger you, your anxiety, details about your mood, and more.
- Otis features a built in ERP log, a tool commonly used by therapists, now made available to you completely free. This log allows you to set goals and make milestones on the path to achieving your goal. This aids in anxiety reduction and, although it is difficult, the goal is to repeatedly expose you to things you fear to reduce the fear response.
- Otis features guided meditations and learning guides to help you learn more about the psychology of anxiety and how you can combat it and feel calm
- Otis features a custom mood-trends page where you can view patterns in your mood over time

Price:
It is the mission of The Otis Foundation to increase access to treatment for psychological disorders, especially to those who cannot afford care. We believe that mental health is health, and we understand that 1) a psychological illness can be just as debilitating as a physical illness, 2) many psychological illnesses have physical roots, and 3) it is a shame that due to the cost of treatment, maintaining good mental health may in many cases be seen as a privilege of the rich. This is why Otis is completely free to download and use, no strings attached.

Clinical Evidence:
While the Otis app hasnt been studied clinically, exposure response prevention has been. A study¹ by Clara Law, et al, found that the use of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) combined with exposure response prevention (ERP) treatment is more helpful in the treatment of OCD when compared to a solely medication-based treatment and 50-60% of OCD patients showed significant improvement in symptomatology after ERP treatment.
